LOCAL NON-PROFIT
Renegade was founded in the summer of 2019 with a little bit of money and a big dream to help dogs that otherwise would not have a chance.
We started as a primarily foster-based organization and in 2023, we launched a capital campaign to purchase a building with kennels that had just become available. Thanks to our community's unbelievably generous support, were able to purchase the small shelter to support dogs and cats while they wait for foster and forever homes.
In a few short years, we've grown from a dozen fosters to over 300 foster families. We have expanded our organization to include a community program that provides free spay and neuter services and food to help keep pets in homes.
